Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply when you use PlanPlay (planplay.app). By using the site or creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use PlanPlay. Our Privacy Policy explains separately what we do with your personal data.

1. What PlanPlay is — and what it is not

PlanPlay is an intermediary. We find, organise and display children's activities — holiday clubs, camps and classes — that are run and sold by independent third-party providers. We help you find them and then send you to the provider.

We do not take bookings, we do not take payments, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a provider. When you press “Book now” you leave PlanPlay for the provider's own website. Everything after that — the booking, the price you pay, refunds, cancellations, supervision of your child, safeguarding, insurance and the activity itself — is between you and that provider, under their terms and conditions. We are not their agent and they are not ours.

We do not run activities, employ activity staff, vet individual staff members, or inspect venues.

2. Where listings come from, and how accurate they are

Listing information — name, description, dates, times, ages, price, venue and booking link — is collected automatically from the provider's own website or booking system, and is then processed by our software. We show you what we found at the source; we do not invent details. Where we could not capture a price we say so rather than guessing.

Because that information is copied from a source that the provider controls and can change at any time, it can be out of date, incomplete or wrong: a session can sell out, move, change price or be cancelled after we captured it. PlanPlay listings are provided for information only and are not an offer. Always confirm the details on the provider's own page before you book or turn up.

3. Getting a listing corrected or removed

If you are a provider, or a parent who has spotted something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email info@planplay.app with the listing (a link or the activity and provider name) and what is wrong.

We aim to review correction requests within 5 working days. A provider may ask us to correct their listings or to stop listing them altogether, and we will action a removal request without requiring a reason.

4. Enquiries and details we pass to providers

Some parts of PlanPlay let you send an enquiry, a booking request or a callback request to a provider. If you use one, you are asking us to pass the details you give us — such as your name, email address, phone number, the activity you are interested in and the dates you need — to that provider so they can reply to you.

Once those details reach the provider, the provider is an independent data controller and handles them under their own privacy policy; we cannot control what they do with them. We only send an enquiry to a provider when you ask us to, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone. We may be paid by a provider for introducing an enquiry (see section 5) — that never changes the price you pay, which is set by the provider.

Please send an enquiry only for a genuine interest, with details that are accurate and your own to give.

6. Links to provider sites

PlanPlay contains many thousands of links to third-party websites. Those sites are not under our control. We do not endorse, guarantee or accept responsibility for their content, their security, their payment processing, their availability, or the activities, goods or services they sell. A link is not a recommendation and is not a safety assurance.

When you follow a link out of PlanPlay you are subject to that site's terms and privacy policy, not ours. Please read them.

7. Your responsibility as a parent or carer

You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable and safe for your child. Do your own checks with the provider — staff ratios, DBS checks, first aid, insurance, allergy and medical arrangements, and the age or ability requirements. Nothing on PlanPlay replaces those checks, including where a provider is shown as Verified: a Verified mark reflects information the provider has published about itself, not an inspection by us.

8. Your account and acceptable use

You must be 18 or over to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Add a child's details only if you are that child's parent or carer. You can delete your account and your data at any time from your profile.

Do not scrape, bulk-copy or resell our listings or content, do not attempt to break, overload or probe the service, and do not use PlanPlay to send anyone unlawful, abusive or misleading content. The PlanPlay name, design and compiled catalogue are ours; the underlying activity information belongs to the providers.

9. Availability of the service

PlanPlay is provided “as is” and free of charge to families. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular activity, area or provider will be listed. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.

10. Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlanPlay is not liable for any loss you suffer arising from: a booking, payment, refund or dispute with a provider; an activity being cancelled, changed, sold out, unsuitable or not as described; anything that happens at or on the way to an activity; inaccurate or out-of-date listing information; or the content, conduct or security of any third-party site we link to.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights — including your rights against the provider you book with.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated, and continuing to use PlanPlay after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
