School holiday activities, planned in minutes
Six weeks of summer, two working parents and a dozen provider websites that all want a different login. PlanPlay is built for that problem: describe the week you need to fill and it comes back with real activities near you, with prices and age ranges, so you can put a plan together in one sitting.
Find activities near youHow it works
Say what you need, in your own words
Type something like "football camp for a 7-year-old near Guildford, under £30 a day". No filter menus to work through — PlanPlay reads the request.
See real, current listings
Results come from activities we crawl directly from providers, with the price, ages and venue we actually found — not a guess. When we could not capture a price, we say "contact for pricing" rather than inventing one.
Build the holiday, not just one day
Add activities to a plan across the whole holiday, see the running cost, check clashes against your calendar, and get a reminder before booking closes.
Book with the provider
PlanPlay does not take your booking or your money. Every listing links out to the provider’s own booking page.
Where PlanPlay covers
Coverage grows as the crawl reaches more providers. These areas have their own browsable pages today:
- Activities in Surrey — South East England
- Activities in South London — Greater London
- Activities in Manchester — Greater Manchester
- Activities in Edinburgh — Scotland
- Activities in Bristol — South West England
What we check
Every listing on PlanPlay comes from a real provider’s own website or booking system. Listings fall into one of two kinds, and we always say which one you are looking at.
PlanPlay verified
We have looked at what the provider publishes about itself — things like DBS checks, insurance, an Ofsted registration or a named safeguarding policy — and found it. Where a specific check is published we show it as its own label (Ofsted, DBS, Insured). This is a check of the provider’s published information, not an inspection by us, and it can never be bought: paying for a Featured slot does not make a listing verified.
Community listing
Most listings are these. We found the activity on the provider’s own pages and list what was published there — the price, ages, dates and venue — but we have not independently checked that organisation’s safeguarding, insurance or quality. That is not a warning about the provider; it means we have not done the check, so please do your own before you book.
Separately, we check whether a listing’s booking link points at the provider’s real booking domain. That is a check on the link, not on the provider — where we could not confirm it, the button says so and sends you to the page to look for yourself. Whichever kind of listing it is, PlanPlay never replaces your own checks with the provider: staff ratios, first aid, allergy and medical arrangements are between you and them. See our terms for the full wording.
What PlanPlay will not do
- Show you an activity we cannot trace back to a provider’s own page.
- Claim an activity is free because we failed to capture its price.
- Take a booking or a payment — you always book with the provider.
- Require an account before you can search.
